We collect information you provide directly and information generated by your use of the platform:

Account Information

• Email address, username, date of birth, gender, country
• Profile photo (optional)
• PayPal email address or bank details (for withdrawals)

Activity Data

• Game moves, timing data, and match results
• Transaction history (purchases, withdrawals, game stakes)
• Chat messages within clans and games
• Device fingerprint and IP address (for fraud and multi-account detection)

Technical Data

• Browser type, operating system, screen resolution
• WebGL renderer, audio fingerprint (anti-cheat purposes only)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not display advertising on ProfitChess.

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Payment processors — Stripe (deposits via card) and PayPal / bank partners (withdrawals) receive payment information necessary to process transactions
• Firebase / Google — Authentication and real-time database infrastructure
• Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users

ProfitChess collects browser and hardware fingerprint data (canvas rendering, WebGL, audio) solely for the purpose of detecting cheating and multi-account violations. This data is stored encrypted, is never shared with third parties, and is automatically deleted after 90 days of account inactivity.

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in for up to 7 days. This cookie is:

• HttpOnly (not accessible by JavaScript)
• Secure (only transmitted over HTTPS in production)
• SameSite: Strict (not sent on cross-site requests)

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

• Account data: retained while your account is active, deleted 90 days after account closure
• Transaction records: retained for 7 years for financial compliance
• Game move data: retained for anti-cheat purposes for 2 years
• Device fingerprints: deleted after 90 days of inactivity
• Chat messages: retained for 30 days then deleted

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to processing or request restriction
• Data portability (export of your game and transaction history)

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), server-side authentication via Firebase Admin SDK, and secure HTTP-only session cookies. Financial transactions are processed by PCI-compliant third parties (Stripe for deposits, PayPal and banking partners for withdrawals). We do not store payment card data on our servers.

ProfitChess is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us immediately at support@profitchess.com

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of ProfitChess after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
